Fluorite
Specimen #EU7
Laurium Mine, Laurium, Attiki Prefecture, Greece

Here’s a nice fluorite specimen from a part of the world that I had no
idea produced such things. The xls are frosty white modified cubic
faces with a just a hint of purple phantoms. This is another
world-class location with a great number of species, but with an
important historical perspective. The silver and gold mines of Laurium,
Greece financed the Greek-Persian wars and main era of ancient Greek
History. Just another fun fact.
