There's a whole lot going on with this specimen. Wonderful color, size and an intricate and complicated crystalline structure.  It starts with a flattened plate of gold that displays a variety of complicated crystalline forms including twinning, flattened octahedra along with hoppered crystal faces. Great color, form and displayability make this a excellent specimen in my humble opinion.

Here's a really incredible example of Mother Natures prowess. It displays a very attractive and complex herringbone pattern with excellent dendritic branching.  Its color is a bit more muted than other specimens, but it has by far, the most complex and intricate crystalline structure of all the specimens listed in this update.  An excellent specimen!

This specimen could best be described as a flattened gold leaf that has been rolled up like a burrito on one edge.  It displays wonderful color and a unique crystalline structure.  It really is more three dimensional than my photos portray.  This is a beautiful example of mother natures finest!

I'd have to say that this is favorite piece from this update.  The more I look at it, the more I like it.  It's a bit muted color wise as compared to the more lustrous pieces from this update, but the crystalline structure it displays, can't be beat. It's made up of a very complicated and beautiful  dendritic branches, with flattened octahedra xls displaying hoppered crystal faces. It is my favorite piece amongst those I've listed here.  What more can I say that the photos don't already display?  This is a beautiful example of mother natures finest!  WOW!

This specimen reminds me of a leaf that has been folded over. It displays flattened octahedra, hoppered crystal faces and what I would best describe as parallel rhombohedral crystalline formations. I couldn't get a good photo of these formations as part of them occur within the "fold of the leaf" shape. They are none the less very stunning and fascinating geometric shapes.

Here's an incredible gold specimen from Nevada. It's actually two individual crystalline gold specimens exhibiting hoppered faces and dendritic branching that have "grown" together and are "hinged" for lack of better words. It's really hard to accurately describe in words so I have created a video to display this specimen and its uniqueness. To view it, please click on the link below. I uploaded this video to my You Tube page. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Gold Vial(s)
Specimen #Gold_vial
Product of the USA
6.6 x 1.7cm (bottle dimensions)
14 grams (Bottle, liquid & gold)
Miniature
$10 each

These vials are awesome and potentially a decent investment as the price of gold climbs higher and higher.  I purchased them when gold prices were much lower, so I'm passing on my good fortune to you. I can't say how much gold is in each vial, but at $10 each, they're a steal.  The gold leaf in each little bottle is .971 pure.  As you can see in the photo directly below, the leaf is very lustrous and shiny.  To my mind, these are a wonderful and fun collector item!
