Barite and Wulfenite Specimen #Mex17 3.9 x 4.2 x 2.9cm Miniature San Francisco Mine Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico $25 Like specimen Mex15, I’m not quite sure what I like better about this specimen: The blades of Barite or the “window panes” of Wulfenite. The blades of Barite are what really make this piece to me. There are a couple of nice Wulfenite panes although a few crystals show some minor damage, although it is un-noticeable when displayed. There are also a few clumps of yellowy/brown Mimetite and when viewed from above, the barite blades form a nice rosette. ||||| RETURN |||||
