Mexico
5.2 x 4.1 x 2.3cm
Small Cabinet

This specimen consists of matrix covered by dark brown limonite with a subsequent generation of lustrous and bright pink botryoidal rhodochrosite xls. This is quite a nice piece from this locale and one one my favorites in this offering.  Minor edge damage resulting from the extraction process but it does not detract from its displayability.  Cool rock!

Wulfenite, Duftite & Mimetite
Specimen #Mex23
Ojuela Mine
Mapimi
Durango, Mexico
4.3 x 3.5 x 3.5cm
Miniature
ex Mike Groben Collection
$25

This specimen consists of a limonite matrix that is capped by a "rind" consisting of yellow wulfenite "window panes" (to 1.3cm), glassy duftite xls and dark green botryoidal mimetite xls.  The cap has worked it's way loose from the limonite matrix and makes for a nice display piece on it's own.  Unfortunately, many of the very delicate wulfenite xls are damaged.  With this in mind, I'll make this offer to see who actually reads my dribble. Purchase any other Mexican specimen from this offering, and I'll throw this piece in for free.  I won't guarantee what condition it will arrive in, but you never know.  Na Zdorovye!
