Cabinet
Capillitas Mine
Catamarca

Here's a polished slab of Rhodochrosite from the Capillitas mine in Argentina.  It's polished on one side and I refer to it as the "Bugs Bunny" piece as it reminds me of rabbit ears from the look of its center "core".  Great Color!

Here's a mini Rhodochrosite stalactite from the Capillitas mine in Argentina.  It reminds me of a finger.  A few years ago, these were quite prevalent, but I haven't seen specimens of this quality at this price, readily available.  These are my last two.

Rhodochrosite
Specimen #rhperu01
7.0 x 6.3 x 0.4cm
Small Cabinet
Peru
$75

Here's a polished slice of Rhodochrosite from Peru.  I was not able to deduce the actual mining location as the dealer I purchased them from, only said that they are from a new mine that they were developing.  It's polished on two sides and makes a wonderful display piece with a great color and pattern! It's thin enough to be backlit, enhancing the color.  Check out my second photo.

Rhodochrosite
Specimen #rhball01
6.0 cm diameter
Small Cabinet
Peru
$150

This is a first for me.  I've never sold polished mineral spheres before, but this one caught my eye and I just had to have it.  It's a polished "ball" of Rhodochrosite along with a bit of quartz from Peru.  I was not able to deduce the actual mining location as the dealer I purchased it from, only said that it was from Peru.  I have my doubts as it looks more Argentinean to me, but I'll go along with Peru as a location.  It comes with a wooden display stand (pictured).

Here's a very nicely "stepped" rhodo specimen that has a bit of geminess to it as well. Cool specimen!

Here's an attractive specimen of botroidal rhodochrosite on matrix from a world class Mexican location.  Nice display piece!  If you purchase any of my other rhodochrosite specimens from this update, I'll include this one with your order for free, as long as you refer to this offer.  Just checking to see who might be reading my write ups.
