It's comprised of a larger mass (1.3x1.0cm) of very gemmy, cherry red xls that display a complex stair step pattern. They sit atop a dark black manganese oxide matrix (possibly goethite) which provides a very good color contrast. Pure gem! Specimens of this quality have not been produced by this mine in quite some time. |

It's comprised of numerous gemmy pale pink xls to 4mm. They all display a complex stair step pattern. In addition, there are a number of water clear quartz xls found on this piece as well as dark black manganese oxide matrix nodules providing a good color contrast. Specimens of this quality have not been produced by this mine in quite some time. |
