My Matryoshkas

I’ve been collecting Matryoshkas for about as long as I’ve been seriously collecting mineral specimens. I’ve been collecting rocks for quite a bit longer and have gotten to the point where friends ask me about the ones in my head. Friends………..you gotta love em! My first Matryoshka came to me during my first trip to Russia in 1992. Between 1992 and 1998, I purchased or received as gifts, a number of different sizes and styles of Matryoshkas. I tend to like a particular style of doll, hence the ones I selected to grace the front page of my site. Who knows, perhaps I’ll be able to offer y’all an opportunity to start your collection somewhere down the road.
