When my minds wanders south of the equator, I think of Brazil and the outstanding mineral specimens such as tourmaline, produced from places such as Minas Gerais. Or, what about the exquisite emerald specimens from Columbia and least I forget, Rhodochrosite from Peru! The list goes on and on! Looking back, my first "major"
purchase or venture into serious mineral collecting came when I plunked down $600 for two blue cap tourmaline specimens from Minas Gerais. One of the best decisions I've made when it comes to adding to my own collection and still, two of my favorite pieces (even though I'm partial to Rhodo). Some really cool specimens here so enjoy and caça feliz.
