Home sweet home! There's another plug for Rhodochrosite. One of my favorite places on this earth-The Sweet Home mine in Colorado, producer of some of the best Rhodochrosite specimens on this earth. OK…I can hear the South Africans and Peruvians complaining from here. Anyway, the bulk of the mineral specimens that I'll have for sale originate from the United States of America. This country of ours is a treasure trove when it comes to wonderful mineral specimens.
I've accumulated so many, from so many locations, that it would take more space than I've allotted myself here to describe them all. To wet your whistle, here's just a peek at what's coming up in the months (and years) to come. Fluorite from Hardin County, Illinois; Heulandite from Idaho; Tourmaline from San Diego County, CA; Benitoite and Neptunite from the Benitoite Gem Mine, CA. Also, look out for specimens from Nevada, as it is definitely the king of mineral producing states at the moment. The list goes on and on. Lots of good stuff to come, so sit down, hold on and get ready for a great ride. The best is yet to come!
