This is a locality piece! It consists of a large, opaque scalenohedral calcite xl that displays some etching, numerous striations, some staining, and has another generation of small calcite xls growing on it. There is damage to what I would call the backside of this specimen. All is all, this is an interesting specimen from a hard to obtain locale. Purchase any other specimen from this Africa update and get this specimen for free, just by mentioning this offer in your e-mail to me. Just checking who's actually reading my dribble.
