This specimen displays two separate and different goethite generations and forms. The base displays botryoidal, fan shaped sprays of dark brown xls. Formed on top of that generation are elongated, stacked sprays of dark brown xls. There is a cluster of quartz xls attached to the side of this piece. Can't see anything that I would call damage except that some of the long xls could be cleaved.
